Clancy Rowe
Clinical Psychologist | Clinical Supervisor
BPsych(Hons), MPsych(Clin), MAPS
Clancy is a Clinical Psychologist with 20 year's experience. She tends to be quite active in therapy, offering reflections, practical strategies and support as you work towards your goals. She approaches sessions with openness, humour, and compassion. Her work is informed by attachment and psychodynamic principles, which means insights from your past will help you move towards your goals and the relationship between you and the therapist is an important part of the process. Clancy enjoys supporting adults with a broad range of illnesses and struggles. She has particular interests in anxiety, OCD, and the impacts of childhood trauma and cancer. She also enjoys helping people perform at their best under pressure. Clancy's main treatment modalities are CBT, Schema Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dignity Therapy are integrated where appropriate. As part of her work Clancy supports employees of The Australian Ballet and Bangarra Dance Company. She has worked in Psycho-Oncology, at university and TAFE counselling services, for the NSW Institute of Sport and Sydney Dance Company. Clancy completed her Bachelor of Psychology - Honours and Master of Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University. Clancy also trained in sport psychology and is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor for psychologists. Prior to becoming a psychologist, Clancy worked internationally as a performing artist. She loves spending her spare time with loved ones and cats, reading, doing yoga and gardening. Registration: PSY0001408747
Angela Shaloub
Administrator
Angela manages the administrative side of Inner Space Clinical Psychology. She has more than 15 years experience in her field and is thoughtful and efficient. Angela will answer your calls and emails, manage appointments and introductory calls, process fees and rebates, and address any queries you have.
