Clancy is a Clinical Psychologist with 18 years experience. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists of the Australian Psychological Society, and a Psychology Board Approved Primary Supervisior. In addition to a Master of Clinical Psychology, Clancy has training in sport psychology and is currently completing certification as a Schema Therapist.

In 2021, Clancy made the leap to open Inner Space Clinical Psychology so that she could work in ways that made most sense to her after 15 years in the field. The name of the business reflects the feelings of safety, satisfaction, openness, connection, and resilience that can develop when people feel reliably understood and supported.

In addition to seeing adults for a range of stressors and conditions, Clancy provides psychological services to employees of The Australian Ballet and Bangarra Dance Company. She has worked in Psycho-Oncology for NSW Health, at Macquarie University and TAFE NSW counselling services, for the NSW Institute of Sport and Sydney Dance Company.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, Clancy worked internationally as a performing artist. When she is not working, Clancy likes to spend time with loved ones and cats, rummaging in the garden, and reading, around all of life's admin and some volunteer work.
