Right now, it’s just me - the founder and owner - and I am excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar to join Inner Space Clinical Psychology.

About Inner Space Clinical Psychology:

Founded in 2021, Inner Space Clinical Psychology is dedicated to providing high quality psychological treatment to adults while fostering a flexible, collaborative environment for peers. I opened Inner Space Clinical Psychology in order to practice in ways that made sense to me and wish that for my colleagues too. The practice values clear communication, professional relationships, and working together to achieve collective success. Clinical Psychology Registrar

The Clinical Psychology Registrar role is designed to be sustainable and professionally enriching. While you are helping clients, my goal is to help you find the type of psychological work that feels meaningful to you, with suitable autonomy, and the opportunity to grow your mastery and confidence. The practice is committed to professional development and providing you the flexibility to set up your day and build a caseload for fulfilment and longevity. You’ll have the freedom to grow in your role and make a meaningful impact in a balanced setting.

Clinical Psychologist

Perhaps you're looking to branch out, get back into the workforce, or have a sea change. The Clinical Psychology role is designed to be sustainable and professionally enriching. While you are helping clients, my goal is to enable you to do the type of clinical work that feels meaningful to you, support your sense of mastery with formal and informal supervision, and balance peer to peer connection with autonomy to set up your day for fulfilment and longevity. You’ll have the freedom to grow in your role and make a meaningful impact in a respectful and balanced setting.

Role and Benefits

  • Starting Schedule: Begin with 1 day per week, on site, with potential for more hours as the practice grows.

  • Base Salary: Competitive salary plus 11.5% superannuation.

  • Annual Leave: In accordance with Australian leave laws.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to adults.

  • Enjoys learning and developing in a supportive environment.

  • Takes initiative and works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Communicates effectively and fosters professional relationships with referrers, colleagues and clients.

  • Is well organised and able to manage their time and caseload effectively

  • Humour, openness, and creativity are welcome.

  • Experience or interest in treating OCD and PTSD is desirable.
